Biography
Graduating with high honors from the ESTUA Tourism and Hotel Management School in Angers, France, Isabelle Jamet has cultivated an impressive hospitality career since 1995. She began her journey at the Château de Montvillargenne in the north of Paris, where she held the position of Banquet and Sales Administration Manager for three years. She then advanced to the role of Banquet and Sales Executive at the large Hyatt Regency Paris Charles De Gaulle, where she worked for almost three years before joining the Sheraton Paris Airport in the same capacity for a year and a half.
Hyatt International, recognizing her talent, invited Isabelle to return to the organization as the new Director of Sales at the Hyatt Regency Brussels Barsey. This was followed by a position as Associate Director of Sales back at their Paris Charles De Gaulle property until the end of 2006.
In early 2007, Isabelle joined Dolce International and was instrumental in opening Belgium’s largest and most technologically advanced hotel, resort, and conference center, the Dolce La Hulpe Brussels. Here, she was awarded for leading the best performing sales team and achieving the highest targets among the portfolio of 26 Dolce hotels and conference centers worldwide.
In 2009, she was asked to join SQUARE to re-open the Brussels conference center as Director of Sales and Marketing. However, within a year, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide recruited her as Director of Sales for the Brussels Complex of five leading properties, including two Sheraton hotels, Four Points, Meridien, and the highly successful launch of Europe's first Aloft near the EU headquarters.
After over seven years with Starwood, Isabelle was offered the newly created position of Area Director of Sales for the seven Pandox Hotels in Belgium. Based at THE HOTEL, the flagship property, she prepared a complex structure during her one-year mission, which was successfully implemented to the company's benefit.
With such a solid background, Isabelle transitioned to providing her expertise to the local hospitality market, collaborating with several hotel groups in similar capacities and helping venues increase their ADR, REVPAR, and occupancy. She also began teaching strategic courses in the newly created Sales Division at the VATEL Institute of Brussels.
A native of France, Isabelle Jamet is passionate about service excellence and people's well-being. This passion aligns perfectly with VERTU Hotels and Resorts' DNA, leading her to join the organization in early 2019 as a member of the advisory board. Later that same year, Mrs. Jamet accepted the position of Director of Sales and Marketing with Rocco Forte’s Hotel Amigo, the sole luxury hotel in its class in Belgium.
Most recently, Isabelle has been promoted within the Rocco Forte brand to the prestigious role of Director of Global Sales, where she oversees and directs sales strategies across the company's international portfolio in her assigned region, driving global growth and market presence with key accounts.
